Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models in 1:72 scale, printed from photopolymer. For it the manufacturer gives highly detailed landing gear bays with an equipment section and with the electrical and hydraulic systems suggested. It replaces the empty or only roughly suggested bays from the kit; it does not make up an aircraft model.
On large combat aircraft a landing gear bay is full of piping, wiring and hydraulic parts, and on a parked aircraft there is a good view into it. The Su-30SM is a two-seat multirole aircraft derived from the heavy Su-27 fighter, and its bays rank among the larger ones. Kits as a rule handle them with a smooth floor and a few suggested ribs, so after painting they look empty.
Cut the print supports away with a scalpel and sand the pad. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. The bay is best painted and washed before you glue it into the fuselage, because afterwards a brush will no longer reach inside. A light base and a dark wash will bring out the detail of the wiring. Before closing the fuselage, always dry-fit the part to check that it seats without strain. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
