Responsibility details are not available.
A charming caricature kit from the Meng Kids series portraying the American heavy bomber B-17G Flying Fortress in a stylized egg (super-deformed) form. It is not a scale model - the proportions are deliberately bulbous and shortened, so the model has no classic scale. The parts are injection-molded in colored plastic and click together without glue. The package holds clear parts and stickers; the charming features are the three-blade propellers, the glazing and the bomb bay with bombs.
The Boeing B-17G was an American four-engined heavy bomber of the Second World War, famous for its toughness and for heavy defensive fire from many gun positions. It carried its bomb load in daylight raids over Europe and became one of the icons of Allied strategic bombing.
The model is supplied unassembled. Thanks to the click-together joints no glue is needed; paints are not included in the package and are not necessary for building.
