Mr. Aqueous Surfacer 1000

Gunze Mr. Aqueous Surfacer 1000 – Gray Primer

A water-based gray surfacer (primer) from Gunze with a grit rating of 1000. It creates a uniform base under the paint, fills fine scratches and marks on the surface, and unifies the model's various materials into a single color. Thanks to its fine grit it allows smoothing and preparing a smooth surface once dry. Compared with classic solvent-based primers, it has a milder odor.

Use

• Apply as a base before painting for better adhesion and a uniform surface shade.
• Can be applied with a brush or an airbrush.
• For airbrush use, thin as needed with water or a thinner for water-based paints.
• Once dry, the surface can be lightly sanded and smoothed before final painting.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to unify a model's surface, highlight fine scratches for repair, and prepare a quality base for paint — with the benefit of a milder-smelling, water-based product.

Keep out of reach of children. Work in a well-ventilated area and follow the instructions on the packaging.
