Mr. Weathering Brush Set Extra Small (Soft & Hard)

Mr. Weathering Brush Set Extra Small (Soft & Hard) - weathering brushes (Gunze / Mr.Hobby)

A set of two very small brushes from the Japanese brand Gunze (Mr.Hobby), designed directly for the techniques of aging and dirtying (weathering). It contains one hard and one soft brush. Weathering is not done like ordinary painting - pigment or paint is stippled, rubbed in and smeared dry, which an ordinary soft painting brush will not take. These brushes are built for rougher handling.

Use

• The hard brush (of natural hair) - stippling pigments, drybrushing edges, rubbing in dust and rust, spattering mud.
• The soft brush (elastic nylon) - fine blending, unifying transitions and dispersing pigment.
• The Extra Small size aims at small surfaces, fine parts and figures.
• The pair covers the whole weathering process from application to unifying.

Who it is for

For modelers who age and dirty models with pigments, washes and weathering paints and want tools for it that stand up to rough handling. Paints, pigments and washes are not part of the set.

Modeling brushes. When working with pigments and thinners, ventilate the room and protect your airways.
