This is a 3D-printed (resin) detail part from 3DF — a pilot's seat for the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.II fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model, but a replacement cockpit part that upgrades the interior of a plastic kit. The seat belts are done as separate, fine parts (with separate belts), so they look more realistic than belts cast in one piece with the seat — they can be arranged and painted individually for a more authentic result. You fit the seat into a Hurricane Mk.II kit in 1:32, which you must already own.
The pilot's seat is one of the most visible elements in an open or well-lit cockpit. Fine 3D printing captures the shape of the shell and the texture of the belts more faithfully than a coarser boxed part, raising the overall impression of the finished model. The Hurricane Mk.II was a British single-seat fighter from the Second World War.
Carefully separate the part from the print supports, clean it up and wash off any residue. It is glued with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, spray the seat with an airbrush and paint the belts separately; pick out details with a wash. If the kit manufacturer supplies belts as photo-etch, the two can be combined. Sand resin with airway protection.
This is a detail part for the cockpit, not a standalone kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
