Building and painting tips

• Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry through, as the paint will then hold considerably better.
• You attach the accessory to a backdrop or a base with a small drop of super glue.
• If you treat the can as sheet metal, a dark base, a covering shade and finally dry-brushing on the edges and the ribs work well.
• Scuffs around the handle and at the spout and light streaking under the top rim give the accessory a used look.
• Leave the inside in a dark shade, as light barely reaches under the rim of a vessel.
