A detail set, not an aircraft model. It is a 3D-printed resin Martin-Baker Mk.2E ejection seat in 1:72 scale from Art Scale, in the version with modeled harness belts. The set replaces the simplified seat from a kit and markedly raises the fidelity of the cockpit. It is recommended for models of the Gloster Meteor F.8 and FR.9 fighters.
An ejection seat is one of the most conspicuous features of a cockpit, open or glazed. 3D printing captures the fine detail of the structure as well as the shaped belts, which never stand out as realistically on a bare plastic seat.
Carefully separate the part from the print supports and clean it up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; the belts and the metal features will stand out once accented with a wash and dry brushing.
This is an accessory for more experienced modelers. The seat is supplied unpainted and is not a standalone model.
