The small printed set 1:35 Panzer IV Series - Tow Hooks replaces the coarsely molded fittings on the front and rear of the German medium tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
The South Korean brand BSK Model specializes in printed accessories for hardware, and this item is among the smallest and at the same time the most useful. The fittings at both ends of the hull are necessarily thicker in injection molds and have blunt edges, because otherwise they could not be drawn from the mold. The printed replacement has a section that matches the real ironwork.
The Panzer IV accompanied the German army throughout the war. It began as a support vehicle with a short 75 millimeter gun, and after 1942, with a long barrel, it became the main tank type of the Wehrmacht. Over that time it went through a number of changes to the hull, but the tow fittings stayed a recognition feature of the front and rear across the versions.
Work over a light surface with a rim, so that a cut-off piece does not escape you. Trim the original shape off the hull with a scalpel and level the area with an abrasive, and only then seat the new part with a drop of super glue applied with a pin. A fine pigment or graphite from a pencil will add rust wear and a metallic sheen on the edge.
A steel cable hung from exactly these fittings suits the same scene; its sag gives away the weight of the vehicle. A tank and other equipment are not supplied with this item.
