A collector's resin portrait bust devoted to Che Guevara, in 1:10 scale from Life Miniatures. It belongs to the Beginners Series line intended for modelers who are starting out with figure painting; a painting guide is usually enclosed with the set. The set holds cast resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Che Guevara was an Argentine revolutionary and one of the prominent figures of 20th-century history, associated above all with the Cuban Revolution. The bust works out his characteristic portrait with a beret and a beard. The subject is treated matter-of-factly, as a portrait of a historical figure.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and dry-fit them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. The smaller number of parts and the enclosed guide make it easier to practice shading the skin, the beard and the fabric.
It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
