The flat straight precision tweezers (12.5 cm) from the Polish manufacturer Mirage Hobby are a modeling tool, not a kit. The flat straight jaws hold photo-etched parts, decals and small components along their whole length, so they neither dent nor pierce them.

A modeling tool from the Polish manufacturer Mirage Hobby (the company has been in business since the mid 1990s and makes plastic kits as well as modeling supplies). These are precision tweezers with flat, straight jaws and a length of 12.5 cm, made of stainless steel.
The shape of the jaws is not cosmetics but function. Flat straight jaws bear on a part along their whole length, so a flat object is held evenly and is not deformed. That is exactly what you need with photo-etched parts, decals and thin sheets: pointed tweezers would dent, bend or outright pierce a photo-etched part at a single point, whereas a flat jaw holds it without leaving a mark. The straight (unbent) form is also the best choice for work directly in front of you, because bent tweezers are for reaching under obstacles.
The second thing is the word precision. The jaws have to meet exactly over their whole face. Tweezers that do not close properly will shoot a small part across the room when squeezed, and at that moment you usually never find it again. That is the most common frustration in building, and the only defense is tweezers that really hold.
A tool with sharper edges: keep out of the reach of children and do not point the tips at yourself or at others.
