This is a set of resin replacement seats with cast seatbelts from Quickboost (Aires) for the multipurpose helicopter Mil Mi-17 in 1:72 scale, in the form designated Fisher Version. It is not a helicopter model but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified seats from the base kit and increases the fidelity of the interior. The cast belts mean there is no need to build them up from photo-etch. The set is designed for the Hobby Boss kit.
The Mil Mi-17 is a Soviet, or rather Russian, transport helicopter, widely used around the world in civil and military service. The seats are among the visible items of the cabin interior, where detailed resin increases the realism.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent so that the mold release agent is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife or a saw, and sand with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, degrease the assembly and spray it with a primer, on which the paints hold better.
This is an add-on resin set, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
