An extensive detailing set for the Finnish Brewster B-239 in 1:72 scale. It combines resin castings, 3D-printed parts and photo-etch and is intended for the Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Brewster B-239 was the export version of the American Brewster Buffalo fighter delivered to Finland. It was a cantilever monoplane with a radial engine, retractable landing gear and a short, stocky fuselage. In Finnish colors the type won a reputation it gained nowhere else, and it is therefore a lasting favorite among modelers.
It is an extensive detailing set that brings together three technologies. Resin castings carry the solid shapes, 3D-printed parts handle fine and intricate elements and photo-etched sheet adds thin surfaces that would come out too thick in solid material. The set is cut and cast for the Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 kits in 1:72 scale; with a model from another brand, allow for modifications.
The set belongs in the hands of a more experienced modeler who has already worked with resin and photo-etch and is not afraid to modify a kit. The package contains detailing parts only. The kit, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
