The airfield standing ladder for the Su-30 in 1:48 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models. An accessory for the flight line, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin airfield standing ladder for the two-seat Su-30 in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The ladder serves the crew for getting in and out and the ground crew for working on the cockpit. Printing in resin holds the thin rungs and the frame in one piece. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a finished model and for an airfield scene.
The Su-30 is a heavy two-seat machine with the cockpit high above the ground and the crew seated in tandem. Getting both pilots aboard calls for a ladder brought up to the aircraft, which leans against the side of the fuselage next to the canopy and is taken away to one side once they are in. In photographs from the flight line it belongs with the typical equipment and gives the viewer a clear idea of how large the machine really is.
Release the thin parts from the supports carefully, with a new blade and over a working surface. Sand the burrs with fine abrasive paper, wet. Glue the assembly with cyanoacrylate glue on a flat surface, so that the ladder does not stand crooked. Airfield equipment is scuffed, so suggest chipping on the edges and settle dust on the feet with pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
