A water-thinnable primer on an acrylic-polyurethane base from the Spanish brand Vallejo. It unifies a base of plastic, resin and photo-etch, brings out unfinished joints and at the same time serves straight away as a paint in German dark yellow. The shade matches the standardized code RAL 7028. It is sold in a bottle of 200 milliliters, that is in the largest of the three packages in which this line exists.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, the pigment settles at the bottom. Spray at a lower pressure and in several light passes; a heavy coat creeps into the engraved lines and rounds off sharp edges. Before you start masking with tape or painting further, let the primer cure for at least several hours, ideally overnight.
