True Metallic Metal LiGHT - Beetle Green

Vallejo True Metallic Metal Light, Beetle Green (metallic acrylic paint)

This water-thinnable acrylic metallic paint from the True Metallic Metal range is built on very fine metal pigments and a sheen realistic at figure scale. The Beetle Green shade recalls the iridescent green of beetle wing cases, and this Light version is the lighter tone for brightening. In the Base, Shade and Light system, Light is the lightening color for edges and lit areas, while the base tone covers the surface. The paint is non-toxic and odorless, thins with water and comes in an 18 ml bottle with a dropper.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use so that the metal pigment is mixed in.
• Apply it with a brush to a smooth, well-prepared surface; it covers over a black base and a white one alike.
• It serves as the lightening tone on the edges and highlights of green metal surfaces.
• Apply metallic paints toward the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
• Once thinned with water it can also be applied with an airbrush; the range has a separate airbrush version for spraying.
