A modeling metallic paint from the Vallejo brand in a bottle with a volume of 35 ml. It belongs to the liquid metal range, which differs from ordinary water-thinnable acrylics in its binder: it is based on alcohol, so once dry it gives a markedly smoother and glossier metal surface than a classic metallic paint on an acrylic base. The white gold shade is a light, coolly golden metal between silver and yellow gold. It is not a covering color for spraying camouflage over large areas but a specialized shade for metal surfaces and decorative details.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before every use: the metal pigment settles to the bottom.
• It is applied with a brush straight from the bottle in a thin coat; the paint flows out into a smooth film on its own, so do not press on the brush and do not keep working it around.
• It looks best on a smooth, ideally glossy base, as every scratch and hair of dust shows through under metal.
• It dries fast. Clean brushes with alcohol straight after work, as the paint will not dissolve in water.
• Do not thin it with water and do not mix it with water-thinnable acrylics; use alcohol for any thinning.
• Apply metal surfaces at the very end of the build, as they are harder to paint over, to mask and to overspray.
