This photo-etched set brings fine metal parts for refining the landing gear on a model of the American F-100F Super Sabre in 1:32 scale. It supplements the landing gear bays, the legs and the doors with fine detail that simplified plastic cannot capture. It is not a standalone aircraft kit but an accessory for models of the F-100F type in the stated scale.
The F-100 Super Sabre was an American supersonic fighter, the first production machine able to exceed the speed of sound in level flight. The two-seat F-100F version served for training and for combat duties alike. The landing gear and its bays are among the areas where every piece of fine detail shows on a model.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface, shape the bends on a photo-etch bender and fix the joints with cyanoacrylate glue. Fit out the landing gear bays with the detail before closing them up, and lay on a primer before painting so that the paint holds on the metal.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, and the aircraft model itself is not included in the package.
