About product

Faded Green Pigment: modeling pigment from AK Interactive

An ultra-fine pigment in the form of a loose powder from AK Interactive, in a faded green shade muted toward gray. It is not an opaque paint but a weathering material. It suits suggesting bleached green camouflage, settled green film, moss and algae in seams and corners on vehicles, ships, artillery and on the surface of dioramas. The package holds 35 ml. It is applied dry with a soft brush, or wet after mixing with pigment fixer or mineral spirits.

Use

  • Dry: work it gently into corners and transitions with a brush.
  • Wet: mix it with pigment fixer or mineral spirits for targeted deposits.
  • Suitable for mossy patina, algae and bleached green.
  • Fix it with pigment fixer once you are finished.

Who it is for

For modelers of vehicles, ships and dioramas who want to suggest age, damp and green patina realistically.

The pigment is a fine powder: do not inhale it, work in a ventilated area and consider a protective mask. Paints and fixer are not included in the package.

FAQ

For bleached green camouflage, mossy and algae patina in seams and corners, and for suggesting a damp, aged surface on vehicles, ships and dioramas.

It is a loose pigment (fine powder) for weathering, not an opaque paint. It is applied dry, or wet after mixing with pigment fixer or mineral spirits.

Do not inhale the powder, do not stir it up and work in a ventilated room. We recommend a respirator or a mask.
