About product

Tamiya Fine Pin Vice (0.1–3.2 mm)

A hand drill (pin vice) from the Japanese brand Tamiya. It is used to drill small holes precisely into models and parts by hand, with no power tool. You clamp a bit into the chuck and drill the hole by turning it in your fingers, so you have full control and there is no risk of melting the plastic. The holder takes bits in the diameter range of 0.1 to 3.2 mm, which covers the vast majority of ordinary modeling jobs.

Use

  • Precise hand drilling of holes into plastic, resin and wood.
  • Preparing holes for pins, wire, barrels, antennas or tubing.
  • Opening up suggested holes, for example gun muzzles and exhausts.
  • The 0.1 to 3.2 mm range covers fine and larger holes alike.

Who it is for

For modelers of all levels who need a reliable hand drill for precise detail work.

The drill bits may not be included in the package. A sharp tool, keep out of the reach of children.
