This set from the Spanish brand AK Interactive joins ten paints of the 3rd Generation line with one exclusive figure of a German infantryman with a heavy machine gun. It is put together as an entry package for painting German units deployed in Europe during the Second World War: the choice of shades covers the uniform, the equipment and the armament, so the figure can be painted from the base coat to the details without buying further tones. The 3rd Generation line is acrylic and is thinned with water or with the thinner of the same line.

Use

• Wash the figure before painting, let it dry and apply a base coat.
• Shake the bottle before every use; the pigment in acrylic paints settles to the bottom.
• Apply thin coats with a brush, so that the engraved detail of the uniform and equipment is not lost.
• For the airbrush, thin the paint gradually in small amounts and keep watching how it covers.
• Fix the finished figure with a varnish according to the final surface you want.

It is aimed at wargamers and at modelers who are starting out with figures and want a palette for German infantry together instead of picking shades one at a time. But it will also serve more experienced builders as a way of filling out their uniform tones.
