AK Interactive Grease Shafts and Bearings - grease for shafts and bearings (35 ml)

An enamel (solvent-based) weathering product from the Spanish manufacturer AK Interactive that imitates real grease and oil around shafts, bearings, joints and other moving areas on a model. It is not a covering paint and not a kit but a ready-made liquid effect in a 35 ml bottle. The material stays workable for a long time, so the layer can be shaped, drawn out into runs or given fine scratches before it dries, for a convincing greasy texture.

Use

• Apply it deliberately with a brush onto shafts, bearings, joints, gearing and the places that are greased in reality.
• The effect can be moved and shaped until it dries, and it is thinned and cleaned with mineral spirits.
• Combine it with other AK enamel effects and pigments to grade the grease and the dirt.
• Apply it over a thoroughly dried finish, ideally protected by a varnish compatible with enamel.

For modelers of military vehicles, aircraft and cars who want to distinguish the greased parts of mechanisms realistically from dry dust and rust.

The product contains an organic solvent, so it is flammable; work in a well-ventilated area and out of the reach of children. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
