A Mr.Paint modeling paint in the gray-green Grey Green shade, intended for spraying with an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
A gray-green shade standing on the border between the two colors: depending on the light it leans one moment toward gray, the next toward green. The name describes the shade in color terms and refers to no standard, so it pays to compare a sprayed sample with the subject you are building, and to do so in daylight. A sprayed test patch always looks different from the paint in the bottle.
Wash and degrease the model before painting, as the paint will not hold on a greasy surface. Stir the contents of the bottle properly, since the pigment settles at the bottom. Spray with an airbrush in thin coats and let the surface become tacky between passes. Lighter coats keep the engraving and the fine detail legible, while one heavy coat floods them. Choose the thinner and the cleaner from the same range and rinse the airbrush right after you finish work.
Gray-green tones have traditionally appeared in modeling on cockpit interiors and on the undersides of aircraft. The base coat can be brought to life by lightening the centers of the panels and darkening the joints so that the surface does not look flat. Lay a gloss varnish down before the decals and even out the degree of sheen only with the final clear coat. On a large area the shade reads differently from a small part, so plan the spraying of the cockpit and the fuselage into a single session and from a single bottle.
The package contains the paint. Thinner, an airbrush and other modeling aids are not included, unless stated otherwise. Spray in a well-ventilated room, use respiratory protection and store the bottle tightly closed out of the reach of children.
