Grey Olive is a gray-green tone that corresponds to number 6006 in the standardized RAL color chart. RAL is a European system of bindingly defined shades, thanks to which a paint can be described by a number instead of an approximation in words. On a model this tone looks muted, with no green shout, and it sits well with the ocher and brown shades it usually meets on camouflaged vehicles.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging, so follow them. Apply in several thin coats and let each one dry, because one dense coat floods the fine surface detail. It is worth washing, degreasing and priming the base before painting, especially on metal and resin parts.
The shade suits modelers who need to track down a particular RAL number and do not want to mix it from memory. It will serve on vehicles and on small equipment and accessories alike, that is, anywhere a gray-green tone is called for.
