GT3 RS White is a white shade from the range of the brand Number 5. The paints in this line carry the names of automotive paints, so the shade is aimed above all at the bodies of car models, whether you are building a road or a racing car. White is at the same time the most common base under colored stripes and competition numbers, so it also suits anywhere a light surface is needed under a decal or a mask.
Stir the contents of the container thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles and unshaken paint gives both a different shade and different coverage. It can be applied with an airbrush or with a brush; the thinning ratio and the recommended thinner are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Spray in several thin coats and let the surface flash off between them, as one heavy coat floods the detail and gathers into drops on the edges.
White covers worse than dark shades and needs more coats, so it pays to lay a light primer under it. On dark plastic or on a patchy base of filler and sanded areas the result would otherwise stay uneven. A white surface is also merciless toward dust, as every speck stands out on it, so after spraying put the model under a box or into a cupboard until the paint hardens.
