Plastruct Hexagonal Rod 1.5 x 250 mm

A solid hexagonal plastic rod measuring 1.5 mm across (between opposite faces) and 250 mm long. The precisely extruded profile in modeling plastic is easy to cut, sand and glue. The hexagonal section is ideal for imitating bolts, nuts, pins and other technical features. The package contains one piece.

Work tips

Cut the thin discs for imitating nuts with a sharp knife and part the rod with a saw. Clean the cuts up with abrasive paper. Polystyrene profiles are joined with modeling cement for plastic; for joints with other materials use super glue. The surface can be primed and painted.
