Huckebein Mk-II is a kit of a piloted combat robot by the manufacturer Bandai. As with the other models of this brand it is a snap-fit design: the parts are molded in color, they are nipped off the sprues and click together. To finish the model you therefore need neither glue nor paints, though you can use both.
Huckebein is the name of a line of robots that come from Japanese mecha games, specifically from the Super Robot Wars series. The Mk-II designation distinguishes the particular machine within this line. Models of this kind rest on an articulated inner frame onto which multi-part armor is fitted, so the finished robot holds a pose and its shape is made up of a large number of separate parts.
Nip the parts off a little way from the molding and level the sprue nub with a sharp blade in two passes; on pre-colored plastic no light burr then arises. Build by sub-assemblies and keep checking whether the joints hold a pose. The model gains markedly from bringing out the engraved lines with a weathering paint and from a final matte or semi-gloss varnish, which unifies the differing gloss of the individual colors of plastic. When spraying, use a primer and preferably acrylic paints; a strong lacquer thinner can set off hairline cracks in thin parts under tension.
