A set of pastel shades from the IONIC line under the name Essential Pastels Set.
Responsibility details are not available.
A group of shades from the IONIC line with the manufacturer's part number IONIC-0510 and the name IONIC Essential Pastels Set. The word Pastels in the name points to pastel tones, that is, light and softened shades of low saturation. Which paints the set contains and how many there are is stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
Softened light shades are used wherever a pure color would look too hard: on faded finishes, on period civilian cars, on the clothing of figures, on fantasy and sci-fi subjects and on surfaces meant to look sun-bleached. They also serve well for lightening darker tones, because they can be mixed into them without changing the color character. For a modeler who so far works only with basic saturated colors, a group like this is the natural extension of the palette.
Stir each shade thoroughly before work, as the pigment settles at the bottom. Light tones often go on less readily than dark ones, so count on more thin coats; a heavy coat would clog the engraved seams and the fine relief. Choose the thinner and the ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging; for an airbrush it needs more thinning than for a brush. Try the shades on a test piece and rinse the tools right after work.
The package contains the set of shades according to the manufacturer's data. The thinner, brushes and varnishes are not included, unless stated otherwise.
