Light Golden Flesh is a light flesh tone with a golden cast from the IONIC range by AMMO of Mig Jimenez. Flesh shades come into their own in modeling above all on figures and busts, where a small area decides the whole impression of the result. The light variant is most often used where the skin is to look brightened, that is, on raised places and on figures with pale skin.
It serves best as a lightening tone over the base coat of skin: on the forehead, the nose, the cheekbones, the backs of the hands and raised muscles, that is, wherever light would fall. It also serves as a base on its own on small figures, where the shades of the skin cannot be graded because the face is so small and one well-chosen tone decides everything.
Stir the contents of the bottle before use; the pigment settles. Use the thinner intended for this range and go by the ratio given on the packaging. Skin is painted in layers from the bottom up: the base tone first, then a shadow into the recesses and finally a lightening on the raised places. For smooth transitions, thin the paint more than usual and apply it several times until the transition evens out. Try the shade out on a piece of plastic beforehand, as the tone once dry tends to differ from the one in the bottle.
A brush, thinner and further shades are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
