The Lifecolor LC04 modeling paint in a dark yellow shade with a matte surface, suited as the base coat for large areas on military vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A dark yellow shade with a matte finish, carried in the range under the designation LC04. Dark yellow is among the shades used on military vehicles as an overall base, on which the camouflage fields or the dusting are then laid. The matte surface of the shade suits that: it does not reflect light, so it does not pick out small irregularities on the model and it takes further layers well.
Mix the contents thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's directions on the packaging, and use a thinner intended for this range. Apply the paint in several thin layers and let the surface set between them; yellow shades cover less well than dark ones, so patience and a light base under them pay off.
The paint will be used by builders of military vehicles who need a large area in a yellow earth tone and want to go on working on it with shades from the same range. The matte form is also an advantage for those who finish a model with drybrushing or pigments, because these techniques bond to it better than to a smooth gloss.
The package contains the paint. Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
