AK interactive Light Green 17 ml — Acrylic Paint

Light Green is a light, bright green from the acrylic 3rd Generation range by AK interactive. It is a water-based covering paint — thinned with water or acrylic thinner, not lacquer or synthetic thinner. It comes in a 17 ml dropper bottle, so you can easily measure the paint drop by drop into a mixing pot or directly into an airbrush cup. The cured film is matte, durable and tolerates later washes, oils and enamel techniques.

Use

• Light green shades for civilian equipment, machinery, agricultural and construction vehicles.
• Vegetation and natural features in dioramas — leaves, bushes, grass, a base under pigments.
• Accessories, interiors and small details where a dark green would get lost.
• Lightening and brightening darker green shades — as a mixed-in component.
• Applied with a brush or an airbrush; for an airbrush, thin the paint slightly with water or acrylic thinner.

The difference from the Olive Green shade

These two greens from the same range are not interchangeable. Light Green is brighter, fresh and rather civilian — it suits situations where green should look lively. Olive Green, by contrast, is a muted, grayed-out military green for camouflage and gear. If you are building military equipment, reach for the olive; Light Green will instead serve you as a lightening component for brightened areas and light effects.

Who the paint is for

For modelers building civilian equipment, dioramas and figures, but also for anyone who mixes their own green shades and needs a reliable light component. Thanks to its water-thinnable acrylic base, the paint also suits beginners — brushes are washed with water, and there is no need to work with aggressive solvents.

When spraying with an airbrush, ensure adequate ventilation and protect your airways (a respirator). Keep out of the reach of children. Shake the bottle before use.
