LIGHT RUST WASH

AMMO Light Rust Wash - a rust wash

Light Rust Wash from AMMO by Mig Jimenez is a ready-to-use enamel wash in a light rust shade that dries flat. It is intended for weathering and for bringing out corrosion on a wide range of surfaces, around rivets and bolts, on exhaust systems, chains, tracks, damaged areas and everywhere light rust is meant to appear. Its thin consistency lets it flow into details and create fine rust streaks. It comes in a bottle of 35 ml.

Use

• Apply it with a brush to the details and areas where you want to create rust and traces of corrosion
• Blend the excess and any unwanted edges with a clean brush moistened in odorless thinner (mineral spirits)
• For depth, layer it in several passes and combine it with darker rust shades
• Vertical strokes will create natural streaks of rust running down armor or a hull

Who it is for

For modelers of military vehicles, aircraft, ships and dioramas who want realistic light rust. Suitable for beginners and experienced modelers alike.

An enamel product. Use in a well ventilated space, keep it away from fire and keep it out of the reach of children.
