Lights for Aircrafts 2.3 mm – optical fibers for aircraft lights

This is an accessory, not a model. The package contains clear colored optical fibers 2.3 mm in diameter, intended for faithfully imitating the position and navigation lights of aircraft. You cut lenses from the fiber and fit them to the wings, the tail surfaces or the fuselage. The material conducts and reflects light, so the result looks like real glowing glass. The larger diameter suits more prominent lights and larger scales.

Use

• Cut the fiber to length and sand the end into the shape of a lens.
• Glue the part with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) into a prepared seat.
• Ideal for position lights on the wingtips and on the tail of aircraft.
• The 2.3 mm diameter suits medium and larger scales.
