Tamiya LP-38 Flat Aluminum

Tamiya LP-38 Flat Aluminum is a matte aluminum metallic lacquer paint from the Tamiya Color Lacquer range. It is a solvent-based (flammable) paint in a bottle of 10 ml, intended for modelers. It forms a thin, smooth and durable coat with the matte metallic shade of aluminum, which suits metal surfaces, engines and other non-glossy metal detail. It dries fast.

Use

  • Application with an airbrush on larger areas and with a brush on detail
  • Thinning with Tamiya lacquer thinner according to how it is applied
  • Imitating matte metal surfaces, engines and aluminum parts
  • Application in thin coats for an even matte metallic look
  • Fast drying speeds up the work between coats

The matte aluminum shade is suitable for metal surfaces, engines and non-glossy metal detail, where a gloss metallic would look unnatural.

It is a lacquer (solvent-based) paint from the Tamiya Color Lacquer range, not an acrylic and not an enamel. It is thinned with Tamiya lacquer thinner.

The paint is solvent-based and flammable. Work in a well ventilated space, protect your airways, avoid open flame and keep out of reach of children.
