Luminous Yellow RAL 1026 (Mr.Paint)

A brilliant yellow, fluorescent (neon) shade from the lacquer line of Mr.Paint to the RAL 1026 Luminous Yellow standard. It is a highly visible signal yellow of the kind used on warning surfaces, rescue equipment and conspicuous daytime markings. Fluorescent paints by their nature have lower coverage than ordinary shades, so they come out best over a white or light base. The paint is a solvent-based lacquer supplied ready for spraying, with a fine pigment and fast drying to a smooth surface.

Use

• Intended for an airbrush; the paint is ready for direct spraying and usually needs no thinning.
• If needed it is thinned with the lacquer thinner of this brand, not with water.
• For full brilliance apply it in thin coats over a white or light base.
• Suitable for warning and conspicuous surfaces, daytime markings and prominent items of equipment.
• Fluorescent pigments fade with time; for depth choose several thin coats.

For modelers who need a signal fluorescent yellow for conspicuous surfaces and markings and who work with an airbrush and lacquer paints. Mr.Paint lacquers are not primarily meant for a brush.
