HGW masking strips 1 mm wide are a universal masking aid for precise dividing lines, curves and edges when spraying models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of narrow masking strips 1 mm wide from the manufacturer HGW. It is not a mask cut for a particular model, but a universal aid which the modeler leads himself according to the shape he needs to mask. The length and the number of strips in the package are given on the packaging. Further widths of the same line are also made.
Lay a strip on lightly, lead it slowly along the line and do not stretch it, otherwise it will contract once stuck down and the line will ripple. Press the edge down with a finger or a stick once it is laid, so that paint does not run under it. Spray the paint in thin coats and preferably at right angles to the edge of the mask, which lowers the risk of it running under. Take the mask off before the finish has fully cured and draw it back over itself at an angle, not straight upward.
For modelers who spray multicolored camouflage, divided car finishes or any motifs with a sharp transition and do not want to rely on a stiff wide tape. The universal width of 1 mm suits fine details and curves in small scales especially.
This is a modeling aid, not a kit. Paints and varnish are not included in the package. Test the masking material in a less visible place before use, so that it does not tear the base paint away when removed.
