A two-row grid as a piece of a puzzle

The five by two format combines well. Two trays behind each other create a five by four formation, three behind each other five by six, and all that without the player having to own a large tray for every possible unit size. Smaller pieces are also easier to set aside as a unit dwindles during a session: instead of empty positions in the middle of a formation, one tray is simply taken away.
