A modeling paint in the shade Medium Green 42. Under this designation an American camouflage shade was carried during the Second World War, which was applied in patches over the base coat onto the leading and trailing edges of the wings and the tail surfaces. The purpose was to break up the outline of the machine, so that the continuous shape of the wing stood out less at an airfield and over terrain.
The thinner meant for this range and the thinning ratio are given by the manufacturer on the packaging, so go by its instructions. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the settled pigment will otherwise stay at the bottom and the shade on the model will be lighter than it should be. Apply the paint in thin layers and let them set between one another; one thick layer will flood the engraved detail and gathers on the edges. When you are done, wipe both the thread and the inside of the cap, as dried paint on the thread is the most frequent reason why a bottle will not open next time.
Thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not included in the supply, unless stated otherwise. The volume of the package and the recommended thinner are given in the manufacturer's description.
