A Hataka modeling paint from the Orange Line range in the British aviation shade Medium Sea Grey.
Responsibility details are not available.
Medium Sea Grey is a British aviation shade, a medium cool gray with no cast toward blue. In the course of the Second World War it belonged among the standard tones of British camouflage schemes: it was carried by the undersurfaces of day fighter aircraft whose upper surfaces were in the shades Dark Green and Ocean Grey, and it appeared on the upper surfaces of further types as well. It was used for a long time and reaches into postwar coatings too, so it is a shade without which a collection of British machinery cannot do.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, so that the settled pigment is mixed in; with grays the settling is clearly noticeable in the resulting tone. As the thinner, choose the one meant for this range, and the thinning ratio is given by the manufacturer on the packaging. Spray in several thin layers with drying between them, as one thick layer will fill the engraved detail and the surface will stay dead. Wash and degrease the model beforehand, as on greasy plastic the coat gathers into droplets.
It suits modelers of British aircraft who need the shade of the undersurfaces of a day fighter scheme or who are completing a palette alongside the shades Dark Green and Ocean Grey. It will find use in every scale, because it is a paint in its own right, not a set tied to a particular model.
The paint alone is supplied. Thinner, brushes and a kit are not included in the supply, unless stated otherwise.
