Meeples 16x16x8mm - Light Blue

Meeples 16x16x8mm - Light Blue — light blue for legibility on a dark board

Light blue solves a situation that everybody knows who plays on darkly printed boards or on neoprene mats: dark components merge on a dark base and the state of the game has to be checked from close up. A lighter shade stays legible across the whole table, and at the same time it can be told apart from the classic saturated blue without trouble. The dimension of 16 x 16 x 8 mm is given directly in the name.

What it is suited to

• Marking on dark boards and mats, where dark components are lost.
• Telling a second blue side apart, so that two players are not confused.
• Clearly marking positions that change often during a game.
• Filling a light color into a set made up of dark components.
• A quick check of the state of the game from the other side of the table.

Two shades of one color without mix-ups

A number of games reckon with two blue sides and tell them apart only by a small mark. A light blue meeple removes that problem completely: the difference is seen at once and it does not matter how good the light above the table is. It suits just as well where you want to separate one role from another without reaching for yet another color.

Who it is for

For players of board and tabletop games who play on dark mats or in weaker lighting, for gaming clubs and for creators of their own scenarios. It finds a use with sets too, where the color marking is to be unified across several games.
