American ground equipment has gone through three color worlds over the last forty years. First the subdued forest scheme, then the three-tone combination used in Europe and finally the sand tones of the operations in the Middle East. This set holds all three together, and it adds the colors that suit details and interiors as well.
The winter white was applied in a hurry on real vehicles and washed off in the rain, so on a model it pays to leave it thin and partly rubbed through. The three-tone scheme, in contrast, has soft transitions and was sprayed with a template, so it helps to draw the shape of the fields in advance. The interior greenish shade is deliberately light, so that there is something to see in the troop compartment.
There are only paints in the package; neither a model nor thinner is enclosed.
