A thinner from the Mr.Paint range, carried under the designation MRP-AT, in a package of 60 ml. The thinner adjusts the consistency of the paint so that it passes through the nozzle of the airbrush and atomizes into a fine mist. Paint that is thinned too little goes grainy and floods the fine surface detail, while paint thinned too much runs and does not cover, so the thinning ratio often decides the result more than the shade itself.
The manufacturer gives the thinning ratio and the recommended way of applying the paint on the packaging; go by that. Always use the thinner intended for the given line of paints: a product from another line can break the binder and the paint then goes grainy or curdles into flakes. Stir the paint thoroughly before thinning, because the pigment settles at the bottom when it stands and you would thin it differently from what you expected. It is better to mix only as much thinned paint as you will use; when it stands for longer, the ratio changes through evaporation and the consistency is somewhere else. It also pays to note down the ratio that worked for a given shade, because next time it saves you the trial.
Paints and the airbrush are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
