MS Train Paints CSN 1999 Black – a modeling paint in a bottle of 30 ml from the Czech brand Model Scene, a shade to the domestic color standard.
Responsibility details are not available.
A modeling paint in a bottle of 30 ml from the Czech brand Model Scene. The number 1999 refers to the Czechoslovak CSN color standard, by which the finishes of rail vehicles, structures and building elements used to be described here. A modeler thus reaches period-correct coloring without a lengthy search for a substitute among foreign shades.
Stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom. Lay on several thin coats rather than one; a single heavy coat fills the engraved lines and the model loses them. Use the thinner from the same line both for thinning and for cleaning, and do not try mixing it with products from other makers. A saturated black reads harshly on small models, which is why builders often lighten it slightly with gray so that the model does not look like a flat silhouette.
It will be appreciated by builders of layouts and by modelers of vehicles who need a shade matching the domestic standard. A 30 ml bottle is enough for several models even when spraying.
Work in a well ventilated room, use a respirator when spraying and keep the paint out of the reach of children.
