A stand from the M.S.G. range of accessories which deals with the situation where a figure or a mecha is not meant to stand but to fly. It is supplied as plastic parts out of which you put the stand together, and its main asset is that it can be adjusted, not merely stuck into a base in the hope that it will hold.
It stands out most with dynamic poses where the model has no contact with the ground: a flying figure, a leap, a diving attack. The joint with its swiveling mount allows the model to be tilted to an angle which would not otherwise be stable, and the locking prevents the pose from slowly sagging downwards during display. Because the base is in sections and extendable, a scene with several models can be put together out of a number of pieces.
Tighten the clamp with sensitivity; on thin parts and painted surfaces too firm a grip can leave a mark.
