Modeling paints for the vehicles of the NATO armies, three 17 ml bottles in one set.
Responsibility details are not available.
Three bottles of 17 ml for a modeler building the ground vehicles of the NATO armies. The set is put together around one subject, so the most tedious part of the preparation falls away: hunting for shades one at a time and finding out whether they go together at all and have a comparable surface.
After long years in which European vehicles wore a single-color olive finish, the armies moved in the 1980s to a three-color camouflage of green, brown and black. The black is used sparingly, only in narrow bands between larger areas of green and brown, and it is precisely the amount of it that decides whether a model looks believable. The pattern is drawn large and irregular, because it is meant to break up the outline of a vehicle at a distance, not to decorate it.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before work. Thin the paint with the product the manufacturer recommends for this range, not automatically with water. Spray the pattern in order from the lightest color to the darkest and either mask the boundaries or run them freehand, depending on how sharp the transitions on your reference are. Apply a new coat only once the previous one has flashed off. Let the finished paintwork cure properly and only then let glazes and traces of service onto it, or the coat underneath will dissolve.
The package holds three bottles of paint of 17 ml. A thinner, masking material, brushes, an airbrush and varnish are not included, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and keep the bottles closed and out of the reach of children.
