A sheet with horizontal siding at a 2.1 mm spacing, one millimeter thick, area 15 x 30 cm.
Responsibility details are not available.
The step of the cladding here is 2.1 mm, which comes from eighty-three thousandths of an inch. Each strip has an offset edge at the bottom, so a distinct horizontal line stands out in the shadow and the wall does not look like a smooth surface with grooves. The material is a millimeter thick and the area of the sheet is 15 x 30 cm.
The conversion gives a board 7.3 cm wide in 1:35 scale, a flat 10 cm in 1:48 scale and roughly 5 cm in 1:24 scale. That matches an ordinary American building, a porch with a wooden railing or the side wall of a hay barn. Cladding of exactly this kind stands on most period photographs from the countryside, and it can be made out from a meter away from the display case.
You get wood texture into the plastic with a wire brush drawn along the boards, not across them. Then apply a dark glaze, let it run into the joints and go over the surface with a dry brush in a light shade. A missing board is the quickest route to a story: cut one strip out completely, glue a piece of dark plastic behind the opening and tear the edges of the opening into splinters with a scalpel. Suggest nail heads with the point of a needle at regular spacing along the posts. The final touch is green growth at the foot of the wall, where damp lingers longest.
