A sheet with coarse board cladding, 2.7 mm spacing, one millimeter thick, format 15 x 30 cm.
Responsibility details are not available.
The distance between the board edges reaches 2.7 mm, that is, one hundred and nine thousandths of an inch. It is the widest spacing in this group and it shows at first glance, even through the glass of a display case. A thickness of one millimeter holds the shape of large surfaces, so the wall of a shed or a store will not ripple even over thirty centimeters, which is the length of the longer side of the sheet.
In 1:35 scale one strip corresponds to a board 9.4 cm wide, in 1:24 scale to 6.5 cm and in 1:16 scale to a flat 4.3 cm. It therefore suits large farm buildings, wooden sheds beside a siding or the formwork of a building site. In figure scales this grid lets you clad a whole house, because the board finally looks like a board rather than a strip.
Large surfaces are better divided up. Cut the wall into three parts, set them together with a slight offset and cover the joints with a vertical strip, as a real carpenter does. Reinforce the corners of the building from the inside with a plastic square rod, to which the roof framing can later be glued as well. Apply the paint in two coats and let it dry between them, otherwise the glaze will run together in the grooves into a single blotch. The slope of the roof above the gable is better cut out to a paper template.
