A plastic kit of the science fiction machine Nyuren from the Japanese brand Bandai. The pre-colored parts snap together, so you build the model without glue and without painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
The plastic kit Nyuren from the Japanese brand Bandai is one of its science fiction models. The parts are injection-molded from plastic colored right through and snap together, so the model gets its colors as it is assembled and no glue is needed for the job. This method of building is the main reason Bandai kits are popular even among people with no modeling background.
The subject is a stylized science fiction machine of Japanese origin, not real equipment. It is therefore judged by the cleanness of the build, the fit of the parts and the surface, not by historical accuracy. Which particular series the machine comes from is stated on the box; the name of the machine matches the one the manufacturer uses.
Separate the parts with modeling nippers a little away from the part and level the rest of the gate with a sharp knife or a fine file, so that no light burr is left on the edge. Assembly is quick and requires no previous experience. Anyone who wants to take the result further can break the model down into subassemblies, degrease them, apply a base suited to plastic and spray them section by section. Science fiction machines benefit from panel lines, light edge chipping with a dry brush and a final matte or semi-gloss varnish to unify the surface.
The model is assembled by snapping pre-colored parts together. Glue and paints are not needed for the build, and painting is optional.
