The set 1:48 Messerschmitt Bf-108B SPACE is an accessory to a model, not a kit. Eduard keeps the SPACE line among its decals and aims it at the pilot's compartment, that is at the instrument equipment of the cockpit and at the elements that stay visible once the build is finished. The aim of the line is borne out by sister sets whose names state directly that they are for the belts and the instruments. On the Bf-108B the interior matters especially, because the cabin of this aircraft is glazed along its whole length and nothing in it can be hidden.
The Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun was a four-seat all-metal low-wing monoplane for touring, courier and liaison flights. It had retractable landing gear, folding wings for easy stowage and a number of aerodynamic solutions that appeared later on the Bf 109 fighter. The Bf 108B version was the most widespread and flew in civilian and military colors all over Europe, where it came into its own mainly as a fast liaison machine.
