Ocher Orange 17 ml (AK 3rd Generation Acrylics)

Ocher orange from the AK 3rd Generation acrylic line. A water-thinnable acrylic paint, a 17 ml bottle, matte surface. Ocher Orange is an earthy, muted orange tone with an ocher cast, close to natural earth pigments and to rust.

Use

  • Thin it with water or with acrylic thinner, not with solvents meant for enamels and lacquers.
  • It is laid on with a brush and with an airbrush; for the airbrush thin it to a looser consistency.
  • Used as a base for rust and corrosion, for the earthy surfaces of dioramas, for wood, equipment and figures.
  • The earthy tone goes well with pigments and washes for building weathering up in stages.
