Responsibility details are not available.
A modeling paint in a bottle of 17 ml. It is not a kit: it is the shade on its own, the olive green RAL 6003. The binder is a lacquer one, not an acrylic: the paint is thinned with the lacquer thinner of the same line, never with water. It is applied in very thin coats, holds a sharp transition well and dries to a finely flat surface that is an ideal base for washes, filters and pigments.
Olivgrun RAL 6003 is one of the three colors on which the late German camouflage of armored vehicles (1943 to 1945) rests. The complete trio runs:
The green and the brown were delivered to units as a paste in cans and thinned with whatever was at hand, which is why surviving machines differ markedly in shade and in the hardness of the transitions. From August 1944 the camouflage was applied at the factory, in roughly equal proportions of all three colors. On its own this green will not give the scheme: for the whole camouflage finish you also need the dark yellow and the red brown.
For builders of German tanks, self-propelled guns and wheeled vehicles of the second half of the war who want a shade matching the regulation of the day, and for anyone putting together the complete trio of colors of the late scheme.
The paint is flammable and solvent-based. Work in a well-ventilated space, use a respirator when spraying and protect your skin and eyes. It is not a kit: the paint comes on its own.
